Photo Retouching/ Repair

With this project I uesed the magnetic lasso tool and the spot healing tool. When I moved the girl  into the other photo the lighting didnt really match so I had to play around with levels and the brightness to make the two different pictures match.

Personal Choice Project

Picture #1

For the first picture I found a main photo that I wanted, then I found a picture of bride walk down the aisle and used the magnetic lasso tool to put her into the main photo, I did the same with groom in the background and the bouquet. For the bride's arm I used the smudge tool to blend it so it looks like she's holding the bouquet. I also used to spot healing brush to fix the bald guys heads that are sitting in the crowd.

Picture #2

For the second photo I found a main photo for the background and a photo of a bride that look almost the same as the bride from the first picture. Then I used the magnetic lasso tool to transfer the bride over to the main photo. For the main photo I used the spot healing tool and the patch tool to remove some of the plants.

Picture #3

For the third photo I found a picture that's supposed to take place in the 1920’s and I used the eyedropper tool to change the color of her hair so it match the hair color of the bride. Then I used the hue/saturation tool to make it black and white by turning the saturation all the way down.

Picture #4

For the fourth picture I found another picture that's supposed to take place in the 1920s and I did the same things to this picture as I did picture three.

Picture #5

This picture is my original picture. I used the hue/satruaion tool to make it black and white by turning the hue all the way down. I also used the spot healing tool to get rid of some white spots .

Working With Selections
FLYERS

For this project I wanted to divide the page for both events. For Showchoir I kept the background simplle so the logo would stand out because thats what people see the most. For the Art Show I made the background Fun and interesting.

For this flyer I wanted it to look rustic and earthy because thats what I think of when I think about antiques.  So for this flyer I picked an old barn door stock photo for the background and added a gradient so the words would pop more. Then I found some photos of merchandise from some of the antique shops that are involved in the event. After I chose the pictures, I found a picture of a frame and put it over the antique shop pictures so they could be the center of attention.

For this flyer it was all about the cars.  I found a photo from a previous draggin main event and used it as the background and added a gradient so the words would pop. I wanted the main of the event to pop the most so I made a color fading effect in the letters.

For the first photo I cropped it then added a brightness and contrast layer as well as a hue and saturation layer to make it a little darker. I then removed a power box from the side of the house using the patch tool, clone stamp, and spot healing tool. Then I removed the price tag off of the decoration using the same tools I used to remove the the power box. To make the decoration standout a little bit more I used the blur and smudge tool in the background.

For the fifth photo I added a levels correction and a brightness and contrast layer. Then I used the blur tool to blur the background a little, then I used the burn tool to darken the background.

For the fourth photo i added a levels correction and a brightness and contrast layer. Then I removed the people from the background using the clone stamp and patch tool and spot healing tool. I did the same with an orange spot on the sidewalk. Then I used the clone stamp to fix some

dead leaves.

For the third photo I added a levels correction and brightness and contrast laye. Then I used the dodge tool to brighten up the christmas lights and the burn tool to darken some of the wood. This is the photo that I added text to and it says “Happy Holidays From the Diesburgs” I chose this because it was christmas time when picture was taken. With the text I added and inner shadow.

For the second photo I cropped it and added a brightness and contrast layer as well as a hue and saturation layer. Then I used the spot healing tool remove dirt and spots from the floor. Then I used the dodge tool to make the floor lighter and the burn tool to make the shoes darker so that the shoes would pop out more. Then I removed a price tag from one of the black shoes using the patch tool and the clone stamp tool.

Personal Portrait Project
Logos

I made a logo for my towns water tower. To do this I used the line tool to make the general shape. Then I cleaned it up a little with the easer tool and the line tool. Next I added a text box with the name of the town and when it was established.

Infographic

For this infographic I chose the career interior design.  I chose to make the backgroung dark so the rest of the compents would pop.
